The Helio loafers are tiny! I have a short, wide size 6.5 foot and always wear DJP in a size 7 since the leather is so soft and they usually go on like a dream This shoe; however, is short and narrow. When I unboxed it, it immediately looked like a baby shoe: like I had ordered a 6 or 6.5, not a 7. I checked the box and I did order size seven. I ordered the black, navy and saddle and they are all tiny, tiny tiny! The saddle is now sold out in a 7.5, which I think would be too long anyway, I have never worn a 7.5 in my life. I guess I am stuck with trying to stretch these expensive, small but very good-looking shoes. The quality is delicious and other than sizing the construction is sound and the comfort would be there if they were not so squeezing on my feet.

Great style. Not too too clunky, but funky clunky... in a good way. Love restrained non-shiny buckle detail. All good. Fit typical. Need tape on heel if no socks.

These fit great, true to size and are so unbelievably comfortable and cute. Would recommend over and over and over again. I’m going to buy another color.

These shoes run true to size. Can be worn easily w jeans or dressier pants. Will look good s tights this fall

I love these loafers. The black patent accents are subtle and stylish, and they are comfy & true to size. I have narrow heels, so I find the heels a bit loose, but I can still wear them (most loafers have wide-fitting heels on me). Highly recommend. Nice quality leather insole, too.

These loafers are so comfortable and look great too. I’m a 9 or 9.5 in most shoes. I tried on the 9 in a store and they felt snug. Knowing I’d wear light socks in the winter, I ordered the 9.5. They’re just right. I ordered another style and color of DP shoes while I was at it too. They’re also great.

Im sorry to say that I had to return because they were a little narrrow. I will keep trying, I wanted so bad for them to be comfortable

The quality of the shoes are great and can’t find in a regular show store.Buying on line was very easy as well and if they weren’t quite what you had in mind the return was easy as well.

Nice detailing, Super cool colors. They are elegant yet casual. They run small and D.P. doesn't offer a 10.5 so the 11 worked.

I am updating my earlier review of the tiny, tiny shoe. I returned all three colors I purchased (saddle, navy and black) and reordered them a half size larger. This did the trick for my short, wide feet. Whereas my regular size was excruciatingly narrow and short, a half size up was perfect. These loafers are like butter! So comfy and the lug sole is very cute. I did give them a weather spray and they, like the many, many other DJP shoes I have purchased, are gorgeous construction, materials and (adjusted) fit. Love these!!

I also bought this shoe. It is really quite beautiful. However, it is way too narrow for a size 10. This shoe is made for a narrow foot. If you have a foot that is wide or even a bit wide, look for another shoe.

Do NOT size upon this shoe. I believed the comment, ordered a half size larger…they are huge…I had to return and exchange for my normal size.

Shoes are very comfortable I love the look as well a little clunky and stylish at the same time. The fit was snug initially and had stretched some to the point where my foot moves around too much . I always need to size down half a size in Donald Pliner shoes . The fit seems to have changed in the last three years .

Soft, & comfy. I luv it with denim and the lug bottom looks cool- but also adds to the comfort!

I do not wear wide shoes, so I was very surprised when I tried these on and how narrow they are. I read the reviews and then re-ordered a half size bigger. These were still narrow and much too long. I kept the original pair and will be taking them to the shoe repair shop to have them stretched.

I loved the look of the Helio loafers and purchased them for a trip.They are beautiful shoes but have stretched and are so uncomfortable and awkward to wear. I have worn them twice, regretfully.

The loafer and details are very nice. I am a 7-7.5 size so it’s always a challenge ordering shoes on-line. I ordered a 7.5 and the shoe is definitely too large. Because the color isn’t exactly the shade I need, I decided not to guess at sizing down a whole or half size, I returned them.

I purchased the dark brown- love this color. Well made and I personally found these to be true to size- no heel slippage. I wear a 9.5 and they feel great and are very comfortable.

Great up-to-date shoe for casual wear. I was torn about size. Some reviews said order larger and others size down. I finally went with my normal size 8-1/2 and it was great. The shoe fits like a glove. I will be ordering more in other colors.

Returning them sadly... love the look of the shoe but way too tight all around on my foot!
