Have been wearing Pliners for years in a 5 1/2. Got this loafer and love it, however it was short and very wide. Sadly had to return.

Beautiful shoes but didn’t feel comfortable: the side of the shoe comes up too high and rubs against the area below the ankle.

I really love the look of these shoes. They are really versatile. Look great with my dress pants for work, then transition with jeans for a night out. They are really comfortable - although I did get blisters on my right heel the first day I wore them. I chalk that up to breaking in new shoes. They really are comfortable otherwise. Since they are a patent leather, the navy goes with just about anything. I normally wear a size 8.5, and I ordered these in a 9. The toe box is a little shallow - meaning my big toes do rub up against the top of the shoe more than I like. I'm hoping that this loosens up the more I wear them.

Gorgeous well-made shoe. I typically wear 7.5 or 8, after reading reviews I ordered the 8. Although it is a sufficient length, I found that the toe-box was excrutiatingly shallow and the width is too narrow for me. SO DISAPPOINTED. This is a shoe for women with narrow feet and very flat toes.

I own a lot of Pliners and especially love the lug sole ones. I am thrilled with the Hope navy ornament. So beautiful and I love the fabric as a change from leather or suede. The embroidered ornament is so classic. The navy patent piping really sets the design off from the ordinary. My foot runs to the more narrow range of medium and the fit is perfect. These are now my favorite shoes for Fall and Winter.

Beautiful shoes and the beading adds a nice touch. I wear a size 7 and these shoes are a little loose in the heel but fit well in the toe box. My foot is narrow.

Fabulous! Also bought the red for my sister as a gift. She had never ventured into Plinerland and is now sold. I had the crushed red velvet , lug sole , jewel top loafer from years ago and still wear . Always asked where I bought those shoes! They’re keepers.

Why does Donald Pliner not make shoe size 10 1/2?

Sorry I have to lend my review to those who loved this shoe but found it didn't fit well. The length and width were ok for my size 9 foot, although a little snug. But there is not enough room in the vamp, that is the height of the toe box. I couldn't imagine wearing this for many hours, and a key point of a loafer is comfort. Also as the shoe is not leather, I knew stretching was not an option. I wanted these in my wardrobe, but not to be.

I'm a hard to fit tall gal with narrow feet. Difficult to find trendy flats that fit well. This one hits all the right marks. Comfortable, true to size, and perfect jeweled touch on the top. Will go great with fall fashions!

These shoes are beautiful. However, the fit is a bit off as the top of the shoe rubs against the top of the big toe which is why I ordered a size up. So glad I did because the rub is bearable. Had I ordered my regular size, I would have had to send the loafers back.

As always this DP shoe is fun and yet sophisticated. Love the shading and adornment. I am considering another color.
