Love these new shoes. Note there is no fluffy lining over the top of the foot; understandable as this might make the shoes look like slippers. The instep area is not as secure as I would like. Where there is a split along each side, posterior to the penny slot, there is a lot of give as you walk. They flop a little as you walk--not terribly like a flip flop--but not as secure as some mules I have purchased from DP. I still really like them and they suit my purposes. They are comfy. I had purchased a pair for my elderly mother in leopard (so cute) but am returning those because I fear she may trip or fall since these are slightly insecure shoes.
